The costumes collected and presented by the Folk Fajarda date from the early twentieth century and go up to the 40s are typical costumes of the people of our village who wore the costume of work as a principal, if it was new it was used in the village or the square if it was worn it was used for the job.

New dresses were only for special occasions such as weddings or the Feast of the Castle and only for those who had more money.

The costumes represented by our Rancho try to give a diverse picture of what was the daily life of our people in their different environments, Heath and Lowland, Work, and the Feast. The tenants, farm hands, water carrier, Campinos, cattle leaders,, mowers, Grooms, Feast; costumes are typical of our parish, used by our ancestors.

SUNDAY COSTUME OR TO GO TO THE VILLAGE

When the woman went to the village or the square to find work she wore the same outfit she wore in harvesting, threshing or work in the fields. The difference was that the suit would be newer and she wore no hat but the head scarf.

- Coloured wool scarf;
- Poplin blouse - Apron stripped yellow and blue, decorated the cross stitch;
- Blue fabric with white polka dots, getting underneath another denim skirt with a red bar and one or two skirts adorned with brightly coloured beaks.
- Clogs which often were only wore at the entrance of the village in order not to pay a fine for going barefoot.
