Took place on March 13, 2010, the 1st meeting of the county folklorists Coruche in the modern auditorium of Fajardo.
Organization of Folk Fajardo in partnership with the Rancho Regional Sorraia and Folklore "The Peasants of Santana do Mato".
Expectations were high because the initiative was ambitious, bring to this meeting folk dancers who have had little or no contact with those most scholars in the field and at the same time more true inserted in Folklore.
But the groups saw a door opening and the Ranchos that made the partnership for this meeting were willing to provide full support to those who needed him, turned out in force.
Ranches currently in the ten county Coruche, eight attended the meeting from outside the county moved five groups, each group was also represented by more elements than usual in these events, the organization has struggled for time spent by the speakers, got the most people possible.
The Folklore of Fajardo thanked all those present at this meeting its willingness to listen and Folklore.
We believe that the sharing of experiences will only now begin and that will be an asset to the folklore of the county Coruche, each group should have their specificities and their characteristics, but in general we can all help the county to be more representative, more authentic.
Those who did not know were the directives that emanate for Folklore, so all we assume we know the rules, it is for each one ensuring the best possible for his Rancho.
